Training in Clinical Psychoanalysis
August 2019 – May 2022

The Centre for Lacanian Analysis (Aotearoa New Zealand), was founded in 2006. The aim of the CLA is to teaching of psychoanalysis, the training of analysts and research in the psychoanalytic field within the Lacanian orientation.
This year the Centre will offer a comprehensive 4 year program of training in psychoanalysis comprising the three components of psychoanalytic formation: personal analysis, clinical supervision, both with an analyst in the Lacanian field, and theoretical and clinical studies.
Applications for candidature as an Analyst-in-Training can be made by members of the Centre for Lacanian Analysis who have commenced their formation and are actively participating in the activities of the Centre.
Commencing in August 2019, the training in psychoanalysis offered by the Centre for Lacanian Analysis Aotearoa comprises of the three components of psychoanalytic formation: personal analysis, clinical supervision, both with an analyst in the Lacanian field, and theoretical and clinical studies. The bi-weekly seminars provide the foundation of the theoretical and clinical studies.
